A Squash Offs is completed by using a mechanical tool to squash off a Copper or plastic line until its completely flat eliminating flow of water through the pipe. This method is used on copper and HDPE pipes up to 100mm and is more cost effective than line stopping. It is usually used in conjunction with pipe freezing as the pipeline will need to be repaired once flow has been eliminated.
