Liz is a qualified ecologist and life-long gardener with a deep and broad knowledge of plants and habitat restoration, providing ecological garden design, maintenance, and enhancement services for urban and rural properties.
She has contributed to and edited two forest restoration guides and worked and volunteered on numerous weed control and habitat restoration projects.
In design, Liz takes inspiration from the remnants of Otago’s natural areas - subalpine tussocklands, shrublands, forests, and wetlands, and incorporates permaculture principles of urban food production, soil enhancement and protection.
Nature is diverse, your garden can be, too!
